...Flowers, Pods and Grasses
A course co-taught by Artist Carolyn Fee and Floral Designer Anna Campbell
A Workshop dedicated to deepening the drawing experience whilst celebrating the splendor of flowers.
Experience relaxed, alert, awareness and the mystical activation of the mind through this meditative practice. In this class, we will work to explore personal tactile expression and various modes of mark making. Formal aspects of two dimensional art will be introduced.
In the second portion of the class, students will be taught to make their own arrangements using textural blooms such as Peonies, Veronica, scabiosa, smoke bush and garden roses. The arrangement is yours to take with you at the end of the course!

Carolyn Fee is an artist, educator, and art consultant. She is the founder and teacher of "For the Love of Drawing", a course dedicated to deepening the drawing experience. She has been teaching drawing for fifteen years.
"Under Carolyn's tutelage we have all created drawings we never would have thought we could accomplish. I think it is because Carolyn has an uncanny ability of seeing what you can do, even when you can't see it for yourself. What I have found most remarkable is her ability to hone in on the uniqueness of each student's style without dismissing their work even when it may fail to meet the technical goals at the hand. She pushes them to find their own hand print."
